Helmets for Peace e.V. Gründung
	Société Imaginaire at the Bendlerblock
	At this most historical site, the Defense Ministry of Germany in Berlin, the meeting of the Société Imaginaire took place on September 08, 2008. The purpose of the assembly was to present the project Helmets for Peace.
	Helmets for Peace I

	As a consequence to the project no más fronteras Piensk-Rothenburg and the direct participation of the German Bundeswehr, where hundreds of participants from several countries and professions met on the Neiße River to demonstrate through a work of art their adhesion to overcoming borders, only later was it realized what a magnanimous symbolic representation had been provided by the unique combination of war helmets in a work of art that united people through the Société lmaginaire's method for direct communication. Five years later, these helmets, kept in storage as if in a mass grave, came to life through an encounter of Generalinspekteur a.D. Hans-Peter von Kirchbach and Batuz. Though the point of union on the Neiße River was where the myriad individual works of art came to be joined into one, it was still under the influence of the hands of many. It was only after the suggestions that emerged through the above mentioned encounter that Batuz decided to put the pieces together himself, calculating every single position of each individual artwork into a collective piece. With the help of a few assistants, he has taken each helmet, each a singular artwork (since each of the helmets were constructed by various individuals and no two are alike) and assembled them under his learned guidance. Doing so he has taken a momentary event, where a work of art was realized by many, and memorialized this activity into a work of his own. Simultaneously the creation of this singular work made by many and the same, a work in which the Bundeswehr played a decisive role, stimulated the extended call for others to take example from what occurred on the Neiße River and continue the correspondence. The creation of Helmets for Peace I is what initiated the project to focus on the armed forces worldwide, to harness upon the vast similarities they are more and more experiencing and bring them together so that they may share and gain a greater understanding through the undertaking's method of direct communication.
	no más fronteras en la sociedad at the Catholic University of Uruguay
	In continuation of the workshops elaborated through the cooperation of the Catholic University in Uruguay another extension of the ongoing no más fronteras en la sociedad project was realized on the 10th of March, 2007. In further attempts to expand the projects horizons a meeting was held with the Rector Father Antonio Ocaña and other officials from the Catholic University, the German ambassador in Uruguay Dr. Volker Anding, the former Lord Mayor of Chemnitz Dr. Peter Seifert, the Rector from the Hochschule Mittweida Prof. Lothar Otto, the president of the Fundación Batuz Uruguay Ing. Javier Carrau together with Batuz in order to create stronger ties between Germany and Uruguay. Several invitations were offered and proposals were opened for further advancement. After which the officials left the reunion to join the activities occurring in the courtyard of the university where dozens of people gathered in a joint work of art. A carpet of four meters by five was stretched out containing the outline of a poster created by Batuz (for the upcoming exhibition of eight artists from Potsdam to be shown in the Cabildo of Montevideo) which the participants of the day all joined in to help paint together. Officials stripped off their jackets and ties, kids rolled up their pants, ladies tied up their hair, professionals helped and encouraged as all began to communicate through art. The event was an extraordinary success once again in uniting all hierarchies of this society together with people from very different horizons.
	8 Artistas de Potsdam en Montevideo
	The Vörderverein der Batuz Foundation in Potsdam e.V, represented by Arq. Albert Brauns in cooperation with the Fundación Batuz Uruguay organized an exhibition for eight artists from Potsdam to be shown in the Cabildo of Montevideo. The artists included were Ilka Berndt, Rayk Goetze, Chris Hinze, Heike Isenmann, Mikos Meininger, Susanne Ramolla, Jürgen Villmow and Petra Walter-Moll. On March 16th a private pre-show was organized where various officials made their presence. Former president of Uruguay, Dr. Julio Maria Sanguinetti, Ministro de Viviendas Arq. Mariano Arana, German ambassador to Uruguay Dr. Volker Anding and many other officials attended the event.
	Partnership between Hochschule Mittweida and the Catholic University of Uruguay
	As a result from the meeting held for visiting officials at the Catholic University of Uruguay on the 10th of March, Prof. Lothar Otto, Rector of the Hochschule Mittweida, returned to the university on the 17th of March with a contract to create a partnership between the two universities. The signing of said contract together with the Rector of the Catholic University of Uruguay, Father Antonio Ocaña, opened the door for greater cooperations between the two institutions of learning, creating opportunities for students, graduates and even post graduates to visit the other university and cultivate greater life enduring experiences.
	no más fronteras en la sociedad – El Portfolio de la Hermandad
	Batuz is initiating another extension of his ongoing project no más fronteras to face the simmering conflicts rising on the border of Argentina and Uruguay. Reaching to all depths of the local and international social strata in search for participants to communicate their views through art, Batuz is assembling another addition of the Société Imaginaire’s portfolios. The collection will be an accumulation of all the various extensions of the project no mas fronteras en la sociedad. The extensions are reaching from all areas of the world to this one isolated incident, thereby transcending the viewpoint from local to global. Workshops in the heart of the conflict as well as those far abroad, from Israel to the United States, are all working on contributions. The participants thereby gain and provide for a broader outlook on narrowing isolated conflicts, as the one that currently splits such brotherly nations as Argentina and Uruguay.

	In collaboration with the Catholic University of Montevideo the Fundación Batuz Uruguay is creating workshops to extend the projects application to the capital. On basis of the method applied to the first portfolio created through the projects initiatives, the workshops continue to unite the public in all its hierarchies by their participation and communication through art.
	no más fronteras en la Antartida
	Towards the end of 2005 various members of the Société Imaginaire in Uruguay began preparations for another application of no más fronteras in the Antarctic. Together with several scientific researchers, the Base Artigas of Uruguay in Antarctica and its military historically gave their support for the projects execution. Beginning with a rehearsal in the National Airport Carasco in Montevideo, the project then took place in March and April of 2006 near the Uruguayan base in Antarctica where international participants, from abroad and from the various other surrounding bases took part in the project.
	Michael Morgner Exhibits in Montevideo, Uruguay
	Organized by the Fundación Batuz Uruguay, Michael Morgner exhibited his latest portfolio in the National Library of Montevideo. Authorities around the world attended its opening and spoke on the relevance of Morgner’s art work and his close participation with the Société Imaginaire. The show was open for a month, where some of the works then traveled to the permanent museum of the Société Imaginaire in Uruguay, the Airport Museum.
	Opening of the Airport Museum in Punta del Este, Uruguay
	Authorities in Uruguay and elsewhere have made it possible for the Fundación Batuz Uruguay to have a permanent show window in Uruguay for its continuous results. The old terminal of the airport in Punta del Este has been placed at the foundations disposal for the creation of a museum to exhibit many of its works. The museum stands to display the many projects, the much art work already produced by the undertaking as well as for those of the future. Artwork from participants around the world together with informative material spread throughout the rooms serve as examples from the general aims of the undertaking.
